SCREENSAVER SERIES ARCHIVES GRANDEUR OF WEST TEXAS
Fondren & Company Launches West Texas Screen Savers
Lubbock, TX., April 25, 2003 -- Fondren & Company, a Lubbock based multimedia firm, has launched West Texas Screen Savers, a user-friendly software utility program enabling business and home computer users to enhance and personalize computer desktops with digital images of West Texas.
West Texas Screen Savers draws from a vast archive of original still photographs revealing familiar West Texas icons, landscapes, cities, historical places, small towns and unexpected wonders a hurried world passes by. These images cascade seamlessly on both Mac and PC platforms after all computer activity keystrokes and mouse movements end. Our screen savers deliver a slice of West Texas to computer users worldwide, said Leslye Fondren, president of Fondren & Company.
The archive launches with six unique perspectives of life in the Lone Star state ranging from the icy, spring-fed water of Roaring Springs to the sites in and around Lubbock, Texas. New releases are scheduled throughout the coming year and will be featured on Lubbockmetro.com, a business-based website.
The software features one click installation, enhanced customization options, a user-friendly User Manual and free e-mail based technical support.
West Texas Screen Savers will be available at select retailers and through Lubbockmetro.com http://www.lubbockmetro.com/screen.html with an average price of $12.95 to $17.95. Users can download a free demo version of hand selected images from Around the Hub screen saver featuring life in Lubbock for Mac OS 7, 8, 9, X and Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME and XP platforms.
